Don't Look Behind the Fridge is a spy/mystery/romance drama though the tone is generally "light-hearted' with some humour. The influential characters are women, and it's LGBT-plus friendly. Much of it is the observations of the main character protagonist called Jules Lemos, who returns home after a 10-year hiatus with little memory of his past that he chose to forget for painful reasons. He accidentally bombed an Iranian village that was supposed to be the headquarters of an Islamic terrorist organization, which it wasn't - a fatal mistake. So, what do you do when you're really mentally f..ked up?

Autorenporträt

Julian Lechmus, Author, has had various live experiences such as a period of time as a young hippy and artist, then working as a scientist in biochemisty, in teaching at TAFE and also in industry. In his retirement, creative writing gives him a great deal of pleasure, utilizing his wide-ranging experiences. He balances his time with a fitness program and involvement in community organisations such as Neighbourhood Watch. Originally from Melbourne where this book takes place, he now lives in Kangaroo Point, Queensland.
