Human traffickers abducted his niece and killed his sister. He cannot help his sister, but there is nothing in this, or any other realm that will stop him from finding his niece. Drake Storm and Julie Callahan are on a search and rescue mission when they find a human trafficking ring operating in an abandoned mine.

They follow a Russian to a secret entrance to the mine where they have a confrontation with local police. Julie flees into the mines but Drake is arrested and learns some disturbing information. He is ordered to leave town knowing the Russian is the only link to finding his niece.

Drake returns to investigate the trafficking operation and finds the mines are being destroyed, along with the victims. Local witches, spirits and other powers, go with Drake deep into the mines to stop the traffickers. He is accused of being a Russian asset and working with the traffickers. He must find his niece before he is falsely charged with crimes against children.

After 40 years in business management, GC Moore decided to try something different. Having a BS degree in the Management of Human Resources, and 40 years in business management, the only writing to his credit are technical manuals and quality procedures. Being an avid reader and enjoying several genres, he decided to try his hand at writing.
A member of a search and rescue team as a Ground Searcher and K9 Flanker for several years when retirement came knocking, GC found that this new chapter in his life allowed more training time with the team and more availability to respond to activations. New writers are often advised to write what they know, which in GC's case, is search and rescue.
"Drake Storm: Path of Spirits" is his debut novel which first began in late 2017. Spending the next few years researching and going through several plot ideas and characters, GC began writing in earnest in 2020.
Follow Drake Storm as he searches for his abducted niece and helps stop human trafficking. Drake gets assistance from some unlikely places; a World War II veteran, a root doctor, spirits and a Native American team member sporting red hair and freckles.
Read GC's blog posts for several odd occurrences during the 30 months he worked on "Path of Spirits." Some could be considered coincidence. Some will say there are no coincidences.
GC lives in the southeast United States with his wife, two children and their families, eight grand dogs (two are search and rescue K9s), two grand cats and an assortment of chickens.
