This inspiring story started with one man's dream, which was fueled by prayer and resulted in miracles, as vision and passion were transformed into reality through the dedication and hard work of hundreds of individuals who donated, volunteered, and carried suitcases to Cuba. It exemplifies how God's love, human compassion, resourcefulness and sweat equity trumps poverty, social injustice, bureaucracy, corruption and human greed. She has been a writer and freelance journalist for decades, and although she now spends much of her time travelling the world, she makes her home in the small town of Red Rock, in Northwestern Ontario, Canada - where she lives on the shores of the world's largest lake.
