Duffy miraculously finds himself loaded onto the conveyor belt and then onto a plane. He arrives at Nousee International Airport, initially exhilarated by the unfamiliar sights, sounds, and smells. He absorbs everything eagerly, believing he is finally fulfilling his dream of exploration. He spends weeks observing the bustling airport, convinced that he is living the life he always wanted. But gradually, the excitement fades, and Duffy realizes that simply observing the external world is not enough. He feels as empty and disconnected as he did in the lost luggage room. For all its novelty, the new airport is just as isolating.
Duffy experiences an epiphany. He understands that true adventure is not about seeing new places but about understanding himself. He begins to reflect on his experiences, his desires, and his fears, contemplating his own "internal landscape." In a moment of metaphorical clarity, Duffy unlocks his own potential-perhaps he contains items that could be useful, like a map or a tool, or maybe the realization that his strength lies in his durability and capacity to protect. He learns that his purpose is not rooted in external validation but in self-knowledge. The closing scene shows Duffy at peace, no longer anxious or lost, understanding that the journey of self-discovery is the most important adventure of all. The actual destination is now irrelevant, and Duffy remains at Nousee International Airport, content and simply being.
