Alicia Ford is a wife, mother of seven (two sons andfive daughters), a grandmother and a sister to 18 siblings.She lives in Southern California with her amazing husbandof 30 years, Bobby Ford.Before her writing career, Ford worked in the fieldof education as a yard duty and in-classroom aide. Sheworked for the Solano County Office of Education as adrug and alcohol prevention coordinator, as a grant writerto help youth stay off the streets by creating a safe place.In this position she was able to work alongside notableorganizations such as: The Vallejo Omega Boys and GirlsClub, MADD, domestic violence organizations, Habitatfor Humanity, NAACA, BSU, PTA, and Solano CollegeBSU.Ford is an active member in her church's community.She is a member of her church's offices for The ChurchOf God In Christ (COGIC) including: the Usher's Board, Communion Board, and Prayer Board.Ford is an activist and a Humanitarian; she volunteersher time, energy, and resources to do her part and make adifference in her community. Big or small works, it is allso that everyone can have an opportunity to sit at the table, so that every voice may be echoed with the intention ofbeing heard.
