After his father abandoned then, he and his mother immigrated to the United States in search of the American Dream. At times, it was the American Nightmare. With dedication and persistence, he learned a new culture, a new language, and a new way of life with some hard knocks along the way. Amilcar is a retired computer system engineer. He started a new chapter in his life writing.
