It tells the story of two women and their families on either side of the spectrum when a marriage ends up on the rocks. An ATKV Woordveertjie in the romance novel category is awarded to Eendagmooi and Die ander vrou is a finalist in the same category. The laugh-through-the-tears touch is continued in Katerina se mojo, Foxtrot van die liefde, Blom in die hare and Eendag is nou. Her readers enjoy Loots' humorous writing style that sometimes touches on a tragicomedy. Kristel also writes stories and articles for various women's magazines. More than forty novels have already appeared through LAPA Publishers, Tafelberg and Carpe Diem Media.
