YOLANI ROGNONI ARIAS nació y creció en la República de Panamá. Cursó sus estudios universitarios en Atlanta, Georgia, donde recibió su título en Ingeniería Civil. Tras su regreso a Panamá, trabajó en la industria de la construcción durante algunos años. Conoció al amor de su vida en Colón y con él viajó al otro lado del mundo. En un zoológico de Tailandia, dos tristes tigres le sugirieron un relato sobre las libertades con que sueñan las almas limitadas, y así nació El camino de Pecas. Hoy vive con su esposo, aún el amor de su vida, y sus dos hijos en Panamá.

YOLANI ROGNONI ARIAS was born and grew up in the Republic of Panama. She received a degree in Civil Engineering in Atlanta, Georgia, and then she returned to Panama and worked in the construction industry for several years. She met the love of her life in Colon and traveled with him to the other side of the world. In a zoo in Thailand, two sad tigers gave her the idea of a story about the freedoms that chained souls dream about, and that is how Freckles' Path came to life. She lives with her husband, who is still the love of her life, and their two children in Panama.
