Elements & Offerings, a new collection of poems by Dan Beachy-Quick, is a book-length poetic investigation of that hope-that to think is to learn to thank; that to thank is to learn to think. Dan Beachy-Quick is a poet, essayist, and translator. His work has been supported by the Monfort, Lannan, and Guggenheim Foundations, and longlisted for the National Book Award in Poetry. He teaches at Colorado State University, where he is a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar, and serves as interim chair of the English department.
