Autorenporträt

Marla is a certified Primary Montessori Teacher (TMI,Canada), an ESL Teacher (TESOL, UK), a Red Cross Instructor, as well as an Honors graduate of Theatre (Hons. BA, York University, Toronto). She is a musician actor, puppeteer, dancer, director, choreographer and performing arts educator.
For the past ten years, Marla has created and run First Aid Hero, processing thousands of children through Canadian Red Cross first aid programs (https://firstaidhero.com/about/).
Previously, she owned and ran The Imagination Workshop, providing musical theatre and drama programs to hundreds of students.
Marla has toured with her interactive puppet and sing-along show! She's performed across Canada at such venues as the International Children's Festival, Public Libraries, Science World and, the World Peace Forum. Marla has studied from a variety of talents such as Jim Henson trained puppeteers.
Combining her talents, Marla continues to develop quality, creative educational and entertaining art programs for young audiences globally.
