A life-long fan of mystery novels, Sylvia began writing two mystery series, one featuring female PI Cameron Locke and the other amateur sleuth/widow Royce Thorne. Encore for Death is Royce Thorne's the second adventure.
Sylvia's short fiction has been published online and in print, winning Honorable Mention in literary magazines and the Cape Fear Writers Conference short story contest for The Taste of Sweet Revenge as well as in Editor's Choice anthologies.
