I didn't expect it to happen to me, convinced that I had everything under control. Despite this, there was a surprise waiting for me right around the corner. The day after, is when I was confronted with life changes. Stress, anxiety and panic attacks, I was experiencing them all.
This is a story sharing book, revealing the consequences of living in unhealthy and emotionally harmful ways. I share my experiences with hope to increase awareness in the importance of our Mental health, and to give daily attention to our emotional well-being. Uncovering why stress and anxiety demand our attention. To listen and to respond to the warning signs, because our mental health under stress becomes incredibly vulnerable. Living with stress is like living a life in a glass globe, it can shatter at any moment. Our emotional well-being is important, as not much can be achieved without having overall mental wellness.
It was challenging having to accept I could no longer do the things I once did, the life I had known became one of the past. I was faced with a new way of being that brought a lot of tears, fear of the unknown, and many frustrating tantrums.
Learning and adapting to life changes required trusting my gut and inner voice to guide me in the right direction before it was too late.
