Mark R. Servos, Ph.D., is a research scientist with the Great Lakes Laboratory for Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Canada Department of Fisheries and Oceans in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. His research interests are primarily directed at understanding the environmental chemistry, distribution, and effects of organic contaminants in aquatic ecosystems. Kelly R. Munkittrick, Ph.D., is a research scientist with the Great Lakes Laboratory for Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. His research interests are directed at determining the responses of fish to industrial effluents and discriminating factors influencing their responses. John H. Carey, Ph.D., is director of the Aquatic Ecosystems Conservation Branch, National Water Research Institute of Environment Canada in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. His research interests are in the processes controlling the distribution, fate and effects of contaminants in aquatic ecosystems. Glen J. Van Der Kraak, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Zoology, University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. His research is centered on understanding how a variety of factors, including contaminants, influence endocrine function in fish.
