Kira translates the language of the network-inventory disguised as parish rolls, children listed like commodities, and transfer orders masked as bell schedules. Their plan is simple: mimic the bells, scramble the timeline, confuse the foot teams, stall the vans, and intercept the shed before the auction begins.
But someone beats them to the tower.
An early peel of the real bell-long, rest, rest, rest, short-shakes the stone and blows the schedule apart. A hidden "bell ringer," a grieving parish worker weaponized by the traffickers, lurks above them. Killers slip through a forgotten sacristy passage. The church becomes a trap, a mask, and a battlefield all at once.
Jack dismantles suppressors in the dark. Kira rings false codes into guard channels. The bellwoman chooses a side she never planned to. By the time the dust settles, vans are moving early, the embassy's house men are zip-tied on the floor, and the bellwoman walks out with proof meant to burn powerful men at breakfast.
Now Jack, Kira, and their newest ally must race for the rail cut, the underpass, and the customs shed-before the traffickers realize their bell is no longer theirs.
