Autorenporträt
Amy M. Garro received her B.A. in theology from the University of Notre Dame. During her time there, she was trained to be an assistant teacher at a local daycare, and learned specifically about catechizing to different age groups. After graduating, she went on to complete an internship at a parish youth ministry office. She worked with a mentor who instructed her in adapting catechetical programs and tools, and also worked on a dynamic team providing ministry to high schoolers. After completing her internship, Amy taught at a small Catholic school that focused its schedule around daily Mass and sought to incorporate faith and catechesis into all of its subjects. She currently works at home where she mothers her toddler and newborn, and spends her free time writing and sewing.
