A visceral, unflinching poetry collection that drags you through the ashes of girlhood and births you into the fire of womanhood. It speaks in the language of wounds, grief, loss, rage, betrayal, and yet every line glimmers with the beauty of survival. These aren't just poems, they're revolutions in silk, hymns for the silenced, myths rewritten with blood and brilliance. Within its pages, the girl becomes god, and the gods are not gentle. Fallen Gods dares you to feel everything too deeply, too loudly, too much, and to realize that this, too, is power. This is not something you just read. You'll feel it in your bones.…mehr

Autorenporträt
Oindriya Banerjee is a teenager in the truest sense, loud, passionate, unpredictable and entirely Gen Z. She writes poetry between school deadlines and spiral sessions. Fallen Gods was never meant to impress anyone. It was born out of survival, out of moments too sharp to speak and too sacred to forget. Her poems pulse with grief, anger, beauty, vanity, softness, and power. And no, vanity doesn't make her shallow. It makes her divine. She believes lipstick can be war paint, mirrors can be altars, and softness can be a weapon. She didn't write this book to be remembered. She wrote it so you could feel seen. Because this isn't about her, it's about you. For every one who's ever been called too much, too loud, too emotional, too everything. For anyone who's ever grown in the dark. This is a part of her heart in paper form. And she hopes you find yours within.
