This story is a poetic reflection on snow, nature, and human life in winter. It explores how snowflakes, like individuals, come together to form powerful forces of unity, covering everything grass, roads, trees, and homes. Through scenes of ordination, family, and community, it parallels snow's quiet persistence to human resilience and interconnectedness. The story contemplates how grass, animals, birds, and humans adapt to snow's weight and cold, wondering if even grass feels the frost. It weaves images of ice-covered paths, the danger and beauty of snow, and the human efforts to clear it…mehr

Produktbeschreibung
This story is a poetic reflection on snow, nature, and human life in winter. It explores how snowflakes, like individuals, come together to form powerful forces of unity, covering everything grass, roads, trees, and homes. Through scenes of ordination, family, and community, it parallels snow's quiet persistence to human resilience and interconnectedness. The story contemplates how grass, animals, birds, and humans adapt to snow's weight and cold, wondering if even grass feels the frost. It weaves images of ice-covered paths, the danger and beauty of snow, and the human efforts to clear it like the snowplow truck. In essence, it tells of life beneath, above, and around the snow a story of endurance, harmony, and grace, showing how nature and humanity mirror each other in strength and vulnerability, and how all creation moves together through the seasons in a shared dance of survival and hope.

Autorenporträt
The Weaver of Words, Wisdom, and Wonder

Dr. Cornelius Wambi Gulere is a literary craftsman whose work spans the rich terrains of poetry, storytelling, riddles, and academic scholarship. A poet by heart, a storyteller by tradition, and a scholar by discipline, his writings pulse with the rhythm of African oral heritage, the depth of theological inquiry, and the urgency of contemporary discourse. Whether capturing the whispers of ancestral voices in riddles, sculpting narratives that bridge past and future, or illuminating linguistic treasures in academic tomes, he is a literary force whose ink never dries.

Born in Nsinze, Uganda, and nurtured by the echoes of Orthodox chants and the cadence of Lusoga folklore, Dr. Gulere's literary journey has been a dynamic fusion of faith, culture, and scholarship. His Ph.D. research at Makerere University explored Riddles and Riddling in Lusoga Language and Culture, unearthing the aesthetic, philosophical, and didactic riddle performance theory showing power of oral traditions. This passion has fueled his work in education, translation, and creative writing, bringing indigenous storytelling to new generations.

An accomplished author and editor, his works appear in various literary anthologies, online platforms, and academic journals. He has been instrumental in the African Storybook Project, curating and translating children's literature into Lusoga and over 60 other languages. His seminal work, the Eibwanio Fountain LusogaEnglish Dictionary, remains a cornerstone of language preservation; A Very Mall Man, his classic children's story has been read worldwide in over 100 languages.

Beyond the page, Dr. Gulere is a priest, educator, and community advocate, blending theological depth with literary brilliance. Whether leading worship at St. Sophia Orthodox Parish or pioneering linguistic preservation efforts, he remains committed to the transformative power of wordswritten, spoken, and lived.

In print or online, in riddles or reflections, in the classroom or the pulpit, Cornelius Wambi Gulere writes not just for today, but for generations yet to come.
