After getting a degree in English, Allyn Ransom worked as a library clerk, an administrative assistant, a teacher, a glorified stock clerk, a fine jewelry salesclerk, a private caregiver and a cashier. She's also been a genealogist, a photographer, a public speaker, a food pantry volunteer, a crafter, a poet, and a gardener. After years of being dutiful, she's turned her attention once again to her love of stories, and lives a quietly rebellious life with her Shiba Inu, "Oh My Goodness Gracious!" After spending nine years dividing her time between Erie, Pennsylvania and Zephyrhills, Florida, she decided that she preferred a whole life to two half-lives, and returned to Erie to stay.
