After raising a blended family of 7 boys with her husband George, they both put their hearts together and began a 13-year caregiver's journey. She describes her life as a kaleidoscope of adventures that includes a devoted Catholic convert, hairstylist, artist, US Air Force Welder, Master Instructor and Veteran, Youth Minister/Religious Educator, Home Health Aide, caregiver, and finally author.

In this book she shares the pains, laughter and blessings of her March 2004 through December 2016 walk through the fog, when both parents were diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
