Tara Goodyear weaves together memory and longing, heartbreak and healing, with verses that linger like whispered truths. Fragments of Farewell is a raw, luminous collection of poetry that captures the ache of love lost, the quiet unraveling of identity, and the slow, stubborn resilience of the human spirit. Tara Goodyear weaves together memory and longing, heartbreak and healing, with verses that linger like whispered truths. From the smoldering embers of past relationships to the silent scream of private despair, each poem is a fragment-a moment suspended in time-that speaks to what remains after goodbye. Intimate, haunting, and profoundly human, this collection invites readers to sit with sorrow, find beauty in brokenness, and remember that survival is its own kind of triumph.

Autorenporträt
Tara's journey through the world of words began at the College of Charleston, where she immersed herself in English Literature, Classical Languages (Latin), and Theater. Her passion for storytelling blossomed early; she penned her first poem at the tender age of 9 and ventured into novel writing with a murder mystery at 11, which even caught the eye of Stephen King's publisherthough they weren't quite ready for her youthful gore and mayhem.

A published poet, blogger, book reviewer, playwright, and photographer, Tara's creative talents know no bounds. She has honed her skills as a Freelance Editor and served as an Assistant to a west coast Literary Agent. Her dedication to the craft is evident in her participation in numerous writer conferences and her impressive record as a 14-time NaNoWriMo champion.
