Autorenporträt
Michael Keppler wurde 1949 in Ingolstadt/Donau geboren. An der Freiherr-v.-Ickstatt-Realschule erlangte er die Mittlere Reife. Nach einer Gärtnerlehre in der Fürstlichen Hofgärtnerei Oettingen sowie der Staatlichen Lehr- und Forschungsanstalt Weihenstephan in Freising bei München verbrachte er seine Wehrdienstzeit beim Marinemusikkorps Nordsee in Wilhelmshaven. In Regensburg erlangte er seinen Diplom-Kaufmann. Keppler arbeitete als Wertpapieranalyst bei der Commerzbank Frankfurt. Dort stieg er zum Direktor und Leiter der US-Kapitalmärkte sowie First Vice President Bereich Anlagestrategie der New Yorker Commerzbank Capital Markets auf. 1992 begab er sich mit einem Anlageberatungsunternehmen in die Selbstständigkeit. Der Autor ist verheiratet und Vater einer Tochter. Neben Investment interessiert er sich für Literatur und Musik. Keppler ist Verfasser zahlreicher Veröffentlichungen in Fachpublikationen sowie Co-Autor dreier Investmentbücher.
