Autorenporträt
Jennyfer never intended to become a dog trainer. Growing up in the Philippines, she had little experience with dogs as family companions. But life has a way of leading us exactly where we need to be.
After moving to Canada with her family, she found herself caring for two rescue dogs with complex needs: Rosco, an anxious puppy who had never known his mother, and Rei, a former street dog in Korea, struggling with the constraints of pet life. When traditional training methods failed, she embarked on a journey to truly understand what her dogs were trying to communicate.
This pursuit led her to become a Professional Pet Dog Trainer from The Good Dog Academy and a Certified Family Dog Mediator, where she discovered the Kim Brophey's L.E.G.S.® framework a science-based approach that considers each dog's Learning history, Environment, Genetics, and individual Self. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Through her business, R+R Dog Training & Services, she helps families see their dogs not as problems to be fixed, but as individuals to be understood.
She has learned that the most profound transformations happen not when we try to change our dogs, but when we take the time to understand them. She lives in British Columbia with her family and her two dogs, Rosco and Rei.
