Sharon Mignerey achieved "instant" success in 1995 when she won the Golden Heart from RWA and sold two books all within 30 days. Two years later, another long-term goal was met when she sold her first book to Silhouette where she currently writes for Intimate Moments. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked for many years as technical writer, producing software documentation for huge computer systems. She's a frequent speaker at local and regional conferences, often focusing on the discipline and the perseverance required to be successful at any endeavour. She lives in Colorado with her husband, a couple of dogs and a cat. As much as she loves writing, the real joys in her life are her daughters and granddaughter.
