Funny girl is the title of a television show, with the cast and crew of: the writers Tony and Bill, friends from the army and love comedy, the producer Dennis, intelligent and calm, studied in Oxford, and devoted to his team and especially to Sophie, and Clive, Sophie's co-star who feels distined for better things. As the 60s go on and the British audience falls in love with Sophie's show, the happines and unity of the shows team slowly starts to decline: nothing ever remains the same and the troubles of life always find their way to intervene...
