Franceska Alexander is a painter, gallery owner, art instructor and art gallery coach. She was born into a family that collected, made and appreciated art. Surrounded by musicians, sculptors, photographers, actors, and designers she developed an early esthetic for fine art appreciation. From an early age she aspired to be an artist and a teacher. In 1986 she opened her first gallery in Big Sur, California where she raised her two sons. Years later, she received a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She now resides in Nevada City, California and owns The Alexander Gallery, a 14-year-old gallery representing emerging and mid-career artists. As an art gallery coach she works with emerging artists to help them become gallery ready.
