Ahmad Taufiq is a respected parenting coach, family educator, and speaker with over a decade of experience supporting parents and caregivers through the highs, lows, and everyday moments of raising children. His work bridges evidence-based child development research with deeply practical, culturally grounded tools that resonate with modern families.
Taufiq is also an established speaker and has experience in various international conferences, symposiums and has been invited as a guest on radio and multiple podcasts. Having such a diverse and rich experience as a practitioner in residential settings, working with children, youths, families and suicide prevention. Taufiq is also an strong advocate in suicide prevention and mental health awareness and literacy.
Taufiq holds a Bachelor's and Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology along with certifications in Positive Parenting, Parent Coaching, Pre-Marital Counselling, Suicide Prevention and Trauma-Informed Practice.
He is known for his warm, no-judgment approach and his ability to hold space for both the emotional and practical aspects of parenting. His signature book, Guidebook to Avoiding Parenting Pitfalls, reflects his commitment to helping parents become more present, empowered, and emotionally connected to their children.
Currently Taufiq oversees the operations of a children's helpline supporting children in distress, who are struggling and experiencing poor mental health. Taufiq is also the Founder and Lead Practitioner for The Practitioner's Collective.
In his free time, Taufiq is also an established internationally ranked strength athlete currently representing Singapore in Strongman, Highland Games, Track & Field and the first Asian Strongman athlete to be awarded a full lift on the historic Dinnie Stones in Scotland.
