Author and translator Sudhamahi Regunathan's books include Rishabhayan: The Story of the First King, The Colours of Desire on the Canvas of Restrain: The Jaina Way and Taken Away: The Life of an Ordinary Monk co-authored with a Buddhist monk. Her interest lies in understanding different faiths and beliefs. A former vice chancellor, Sudhamahi writes for adults and children. Her most recent book for children is Ramayana for Babies.
