She is Director of the Instituto de Psicologia e Controle do Stress, President of São Paulo Academy of Psychology and Editor of the journal Boletim She has extensive experience in the area of stress in Brazil, China, USA and is the author/co-author of 29 books. Married to Darci Sassi, her son Louis Mario and daughter-in-law Viviane work shoulder to shoulder with her at the IPCS.
