When Andy Stilpactrik was a child, they thought that space travel was an everyday occurrence. After the initial disappointment, Andy was determined to keep the spirit of exploration alive by reading and writing sci fi, taking accidental tours on the bus, foraging, biking and hitchhiking. Environmental conservation and respect for life in all forms are important to Andy and are recurring themes in their stories. Andy currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with many cats and assorted hominid/cryptid relatives.
