Autorenporträt
Prof. Wenxiang Wang is former vice president of the Vacuum Electronics Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, former deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of High-Power Microwave Vacuum Devices, and former member of the Chinese High-Power Microwave Expert Group. He has been awarded the Third Prize of the National Technology Invention Award of China, as well as nine first or second prizes from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Electronics, and Sichuan Province. He holds over 40 Chinese invention patents. He has published six monographs and textbooks. His main research areas include microwave electronics, relativistic electronics, microwave technology and measurement, and high-power microwave. He has proposed the design theories and the calibration method of mode-selective coupler.

Prof. Lingna Yue has been awarded the Second Prize of China's National Technology Invention Award and received three awards from the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Province for Scientific and Technological Progress. Her current research interests include high-power microwaves, millimeter waves, and terahertz vacuum electron sources, as well as microwave electronics. As the project leader, she has led multiple research projects, such as high-power backward wave oscillator and broadband millimeter-wave traveling wave tube. She has obtained 36 Chinese invention patents and one U.S. invention patent license.

Prof. Yanyu Wei currently serves as the Director of the Institute of High-Energy Electronics at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He mainly focuses on millimeter-wave and terahertz vacuum electronic devices. He has proposed several new slow-wave structures and their design theories such as sinusoidal waveguide. He has won the second prize of Chinese National Technology Invention Awards, and the first or second prizes of the Scientific and Technological Progress Awards of the Ministry of Education of China and Sichuan Province for five times. He has 50 Chinese invention patents and 1 U.S. patent.
