Autorenporträt
Candace Sutherland is a twenty-four-year-old resident of South Carolina. She is currently a psychology major and lives in a house with five dogs, four cats, a snake, and two fishes, and most important, her family, all of whom she loves. Her love of fantasy began early, starting when her father was already reading The Hobbit to her on his knee at three years old, later reading similar works on her own and playing fantasy themed games with him. At age eighteen, Candace was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a condition that severely affects the connective tissue in her body. A few years later, having been laid up for quite a while, she began to write Hiraethwyn's tale as a form of distraction and to escape into a world not her own, but it was never meant to be read by anyone other than herself. That little project has now grown into a full story that she wants to share with others.
