This mildly steamy, one-scene short story shows Vincent's first meeting with the alluring but uncomfortably predatory vampire Davis. It takes place four years before the novel How to Bite Your Neighbor and Win a Wager and can be enjoyed on its own or after reading the novel.

They received their bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UCSD, and enjoy a day job involving respiratory disease research.
