Autorenporträt

John H. Garot earned a BA at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and an MA at Arizona State University. Following that, he joined the military for two years in the Vietnam era. He then taught secondary school. Later, he launched a career in industry with the Miller Brewing Company, the Outboard Marine Corporation, Motorola, and Motorola Cellular, specializing in advertising, sales promotion, and public relations. In semi-retirement, he is now engaged in teaching at the college level as an associate professor of English.
