Autorenporträt
Leon Berger (1945-2021) was an award-winning author and photographer who brought to life eleven books including *Horse*, winner of an Independent Publisher's Award. After an extensive career in London, New York, Singapore, and Beijing, he found his truest voice writing about Montreal, where he spent his final years. Drawing from everyday encounters with remarkable people and animals, Berger crafted stories that revealed the profound within the ordinary. His keen observational skills and compassionate perspective made him a masterful chronicler of both human and animal experiences.
