Autorenporträt
Patsy Barry was born in Dundee on 4th April 1936, Patsy lived through the war years. Even at the age of 84, she can still vividly recall that time of rationing, blackouts and shortages. Patsy left school at the age of 14 and worked in the personnel office of Burndept, where she met Andy, a factory worker. Andy was called up for National Service and they married in 1956. Theirs was a happy marriage with five children, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Sadly, after a two-year battle with prostate cancer, Andy died shortly before their 55th wedding anniversary.
