He wanted to make his new classmate comfortable. As a parent I couldn't be more proud. A few days later, I realized the same thing happened to me in grade school and that is how Jessica, and I became best friends. One small act of kindness developed into a lifelong friendship. I hope this book stimulates a conversation between you and your children about kindness. Children are born with big hearts. Kindness isn't always easy, it can be intimidating. She resides in the Finger Lakes region of New York State with her husband, two children, and two Saint Bernards. This is her first published book.
