Jon K. Newton (PhD, Deakin University) is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies and Pentecostalism at Alphacrucis University College in Melbourne, Australia. He is the author of Revelation Reclaimed (2009), The Revelation Worldview (2015), A Pentecostal Commentary on Revelation (2021), and two books of Australian Pentecostal stories: Holy Spirit Breakout (2023) and Holy Spirit Encounters (2025). He is married to Judy and lives in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia.
