Autorenporträt
Petra Cineálta is a native of beautifully wild Maine, U.S.A. where she lives with her husband Ian and three teenage children.

Petra enjoys spending time in nature, and in particular, loves mountain climbing and anything that takes her out on the water.

Having been raised by parents who devoted themselves to her education, she loves all the sciences and has a special interest in anthropology, geography, and travel.

Petra's interests and desire to learn led her to meet and become connected with the other person whose memoirs appear prominently in this book.

Petra's personal connections have developed in her a lasting love and appreciation for the places and cultures from which she made such connections, for example: Nicaragua, France, Benin (West Africa), India, and various regions of the U.S.
