This book titled "I AM NOBODY BUT I AM SIGNIFICANT: Rediscovering significant people who were often overlooked", is written to explore those people, primarily from the Bible, who though often overlooked, had significant impacts on history and spirituality and it has addressed themes of significance, faith, obedience, family dynamics, sin, leadership, and redemption. It is aiming to inspire readers to recognize their own potential and spiritual importance despite obscurity or humble beginnings.
Autobiography: Thomas Liu, the author, was born in Miao-li, Taiwan, ROC. He became a Christian in his senior year in college and served in the Army Corps of Engineers after graduation. He earned his BS in Taiwan and his MA, MS, and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) degrees in the U.S. at the age of 80. He has been a lifelong licensed professional engineer since 1975 and was a lecturer and paper presenter at the 71st Interdisciplinary Conference at UC Berkeley, California.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sugar Land, Texas, U.S. An avid sportsman in his youth, he retired from engineering in 2021. He enjoys writing and family life with his wife of 56 years. They have a daughter, a son-in-law, and two grandsons, the older of whom is in college and the younger still in high school.
