Meghan Carlisle is an artist, teacher, speaker, and author who writes to women on overcoming abuse and trauma. "I am Sparrow" is the first in a three-book series which addresses various types of abuse. A Christian, Meghan brings hope for healing to her readers from a God-centered perspective of how to approach and cope with our hurts and life struggles. Having experienced her own trauma and sexual abuse, Meghan knows and understands the thoughts, emotions, and struggles that victims of abuse face. Meghan has learned to trust in God's plan and answers for healing, and has come out on the other side of her hurts, and now shares within these pages a message of hope to other victims of abuse. Meghan writes from the perspective that, as the original Author, God takes our painful experiences and turns them into a beautiful story with a meaningful purpose.
