Autorenporträt
Louise Spilsbury (Author)
Award-winning author Louise Spilsbury, who also writes under the name Louise Kay Stewart, has written over 250 books for young people on a wide range of exciting subjects. She loves writing children's books as it gives her the chance to keep learning about new stuff. She lives and works near the coast in South Devon and loves to walk on the beach and swim in the sea after work. Louise won The English Association Margaret Mallett Award for Children's Non-Fiction 2019 for Rebel Voices: the rise of votes for women.

Mirella Mariani (Illustrator)
Mirella Mariani was born in a small and green village between Milano and Como and has been in love with drawing since she can remember. When she was a child she loved books and comics too, so it was quite easy to find what she wanted to be when she grew up. After artistic high school she graduated from an illustration school in Milano. Now she is a children's book illustrator and comics drawer, and is mostly interested in their humorous side. She also loves riding her bicycle, horse riding, swimming and scuba diving. She loves animals and drawing them!
