Oh, hello there! In case you missed it, my name is Julie and I am a writer.

I'd like to say that it's nearly impossible to write about myself. There's a lot that I'm passionate about and/or afraid of that'll never fit in a box. That being said, below are a few things about me that you may or may not find interesting. So pull up a chair and unwind a little. I'm glad you're here.

My Philosophy: I never half-ass anything. If I make an effort, I give it everything I have. I give my whole ass. I don't expect that from others, but that's just how I roll. I'm a firm believer that anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Embarking on a nearly two-decade adventure as a storyteller, I pour my heart and soul into crafting vibrant worlds that traverse an array of genres. Whether it's satirical fantasy with hilarious endings, sci-fi thrillers that make your adrenaline race, or the heart-pounding chill of horror, I craft every scene with meticulous detail.

This ethos fuels my passion for storytelling. Over the years, I've self-published over 25 books (in both ebook and paperback format), including deeply personal nonfiction works about raising Irish twins and the profound impact of child loss.

You'll find me cheering louder than the coaches for my beloved Washington Capitals, Texas Rangers, or Green Bay Packers (in that order). I'll bet on a good underdog storyboth in sports and at the roulette table.

My Entourage: My saintly husband (Aaron), second oldest son (Todd), mother-in-law (Theresa), brother-in-law (Topher), and two cats (General Binx and Captain Ovechkin) perched on top of the fridge silently critiquing my life choices.
