How far will you go to make someone feel better, when his whole world has collapsed, over a drunken mistake? When Dan inadvertently wakes up to see his wife with another man, it sets off a chain of events that takes some unraveling to make sense of it all. "Broken" is the Ingrams Prequel, where April Carlisle is introduced, and the story of her parents and favorite uncle is told, from adventuring and antiquity stealing among the far flung reaches of the world, to the dry heat of the Arizona sun. Who is April Carlisle, and why does her Uncle insist of spending the day with people in coma's, once a year? "Unraveled" details an early Ingrams case, where Ingrams actually failed in it's mission. When a long term undercover spy comes in from the cold, he finds a situation at home that makes him break. Taking matters into his own hands, he attempts to rectify the situation, requiring Ingrams and Associates to inject themselves into his life, to try and get things back on track, with disastrous results. "Double Bluff", April's first major mission, where she is tasked with preempting the revelation that US State Department senior executive's kids aren't actually his. Ingrams gets the word and has to insert April into his life, to smooth over the impending reveal, so he can continue to do his job, negotiating with the Chinese for a cease fire of digital warfare. However, when she gets there, it soon becomes clear that all was not as they imagined it, and some deft footwork is required to bring the situation to a satisfactory conclusion.
