INSUBORDINATE tells a story in two parts. It first follows Vasariah and her siblings, Salem, Malikim, and Andras-elite warrior angels trained to command the divine legions that will destroy the world.

All does not go as planned.

They are summoned to Earth to unleash destruction, but things take a dark turn when Vasariah loses control and becomes consumed by bloodlust, leading to a tragic conflict with her own family. As the Seventh Trumpet sounds, Vasariah faces her destiny and confronts the Sixth Angel, only to fall from grace for the last time.

The second story begins with the birth of a woman named Vincent Bell cursed to suffer the burden of Vasariah's past-life crimes.

The line between her visions and reality disappears the night of her art installation opening. Too soon and yet not soon enough, Vincent must face the hidden darkness within herself. The answers threaten to unravel her entire life, but the cost of remaining blind to the truth could be far more dangerous.

The truth about the real world, where reality twists, memories resurrect, and the past refuses to stay dead.
