Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya [FIET(UK), FIEI, FIETE, FSCRS, LFOSI, SMIEEE, SMACM, SMAAIA, SMIETI, LMCSI, LMISTE] is currently serving as a senior researcher in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He also serves as the scientific advisor of Algebra University College, Zagreb, Croatia. Before this, he served as the principal of Rajnagar Mahavidyalaya, Rajnagar, Birbhum. He served as a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Christ University, Bangalore. He was the principal of the RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He has also served as a senior research scientist in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. He has co-edited 108 books, co-authored 06 books, and published over 400 articles in journals, conference proceedings, and books. Dr. Jyoti Sekhar Banerjee is currently serving as the Head of the Department in the Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) Department at the Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India. He is also the Professor-in-Charge, R & D and Consultancy Cell & Nodal Officer of the IPR Cell of BIT. Since 2024, he also works as a Remote Researcher in the Internet of THings & AppliCAtions Lab (ITHACA) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece. He is the former Remote Research Fellow of the Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics Research Group (CCBI) at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK. Dr. Banerjee did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Nottingham Trent University, UK, in the Department of Computer Science. He also completed the Post Graduate Diploma in IPR & TBM from MAKAUT, WB. He has teaching and research experience spanning 20 years and completed one IEI funded project. He is the present Secretary-cum-Treasurer of the ISTE WB Section and Secretary of the IETE, Kolkata Centre. He is the Immediate Past Secretary of the Computer Society of India, Kolkata Chapter. Dr. Banerjee is also elected as the Vice Chairman Cum Chairman Elect in Computer Society of India, Kolkata Chapter for the year 2025-2027. Dr. Debashis De is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India. He received M.Tech. from the University of Calcutta, in 2002. and a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2005. He is a senior member-IEEE, fellow IETE, and life member CSI. He was awarded the prestigious Boyscast Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to work at the Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He received the Endeavour Fellowship Award from 2008–2009 by DEST Australia to work at the University of Western Australia. He received the Young Scientist award both in 2005 in New Delhi and in 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey, from the International Union of Radio Science, Belgium. In 2016, he received the JC Bose research award from IETE, New Delhi. Dr. Mufti Mahmud is a Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia, where he directs the Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics research group. Previously, at Nottingham Trent University (UK), he led research initiatives and served in key administrative roles, including coordinating the Computer Science Research Excellence Framework unit and directing the Cognitive Computing & Brain Informatics research group. A recipient of the 2021 VC Outstanding Researcher Award and a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow, Dr Mahmud has secured around £4 million in research funding. With over 400 peer-reviewed publications, he is ranked among the top 2% cited scientists in Computer Science since 2021. He holds significant IEEE and APNNS leadership positions, including chair (2023-2024) and vice-chair (2020-2022) of IEEE CIS Intelligent Systems Application Technical Committee and member of Brain Informatics and CIS Health Systems Technical Committee. He is also an elected Board of Governors of APNNS (2025-2026) and has key editorial roles for journals like Cognitive Computation and Brain Informatics. He has chaired numerous international conferences, including ICONIP 2024, IEEE WI-IAT 2025 and the Brain Informatics Conference (2020-2022). He is the chief editor of book series with Springer-Nature and CRC Press. Dr Mahmud is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and a senior member of IEEE and ACM, with memberships in BCS, INNS, APNNS, APA, and Sigma Xi.
