Captain Roland Ashcroft's jaw is set in fury and determination. Kael Ashcroft's father, Lord Zepharion, the Lord of Demons, has his nephew. His nephew, Kael Ashcroft, had been dragged into darkness after the battle of Whitehaven, and Captain Roland Ashcroft would storm the abyss itself to save him or die trying. Thus begins a journey into the gothic heart of the underworld. A tale of love, blood, and damnation laced with bitter laughs. The story follows Roland's desperate plunge into Zepharion's Infernal Realm. Alongside his vampire friend Dragomir, he navigates the twisted metropolis of Blackmire, battles horrors, confronts psychological torment orchestrated by Zepharion, and forms uneasy alliances with demons and goblins. All leads culminate in a brutal confrontation at his brass fortress iron hold, Zepharion's fortress, where Roland fights to break Kael's curse and rescue his nephew from becoming the demon king's eternal plaything.

Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and having spent six years in Glasgow, Kentucky, Jonathan brings the authentic voice and perspective of the American South to his writing. His storytelling is enriched by his ancestral connections to Scotland on his father's side and Ireland on his mother's side, drawing from the ancient Celtic traditions of folklore and supernatural tales that have been passed down through generations.

Jonathan has been happily married to his wife Mimi for five years, and together they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters: Snow, age 13, and Biannca, age 3. Family life provides both inspiration and grounding for his literary work, as he balances the joys and challenges of parenthood with his passion for storytelling.
