Dave Cashman knows baseball. As the son of the New York Yankees' general manager, the game has always shaped his lifefrom packed stadiums to carefully protected binders of treasured baseball cards. At school, however, his famous last name brings pressure, unwanted attention, and a growing target on his back. His one constant is Ryan, his best friend and a proud Red Sox fan trying to fit into a city that doesn't welcome rival colors.

When a school bully begins terrorizing students and destroying what matters most to them, Dave feels trapped between fear and responsibility. Everything changes when he acquires a rare 1941 Joe DiMaggio baseball cardone that holds an unexpected secret. The legendary Yankee comes to life, stepping out of the card to mentor Dave and remind him of baseball's core values: perseverance, integrity, and heart.

At first, Dave believes DiMaggio's magic can fix everything. But he soon learns that no legendary swing can solve real-life problems. As the bullying escalates, Dave must find courage within himself. When he uncovers the bully's hidden loneliness, Dave faces a defining choiceprotect what he loves most or risk it all to do what's right.

Perfect for readers ages 1320, especially baseball fans, this story celebrates the magic of the game while delivering a timeless message about courage, empathy, and true characteron and off the field.
