Autorenporträt
Kevin Payne is an author, illustrator and poet from Devon in the UK. He was an elementary school teacher for seventeen years and still loves working with children to develop their skills and love of words. Kev enjoys playing with ideas and is passionate about the impact stories can have on children as he was so inspired himself as a child. In fact, when he was seven-years-old, he would cover up the names of authors on book covers and pretend he had written and illustrated them himself. He now hopes that children will do the same with his books. Away from writing, Kev plays soccer, writes songs, performs Punch and Judy and is a local town crier. Oyez!
