Patrick Straub grew up in Montana and has traveled extensively in neighboring South Dakota. He is the author of four books, including The Orvis Pocket Guide to Streamer Fishing (Globe Pequot Press) and The Explorer's Guide to Montana. T.D. Griffith has written or co-authored more than forty books, and his feature writing has appeared in magazines and newspapers throughout the world. He lives and writes in the Black Hills of South Dakota
