Jan Kearns was born and raised in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Jan grew up with her mum, dad and 2 sisters. As a child Jan's favourite toy was her monkey which she called Jacko. Jan chose to write her manuscript during a very difficult time when the United Kingdom was put into Lockdown due to Covid-19. Faced with a lot of restrictions and unable to see her family and friends, Jan spent a lot of time thinking about her children, grandchildren and past memories. Due to all the limitations in place, Jan wrote her thoughts and memories into her writing to create this book.
